Willie Nelson Offers $500 Prize For Green Music Group Photo Contest
Everyone knows that Willie Nelson was an environmentalist way before being an environmentalist was hip! Today, at the age of 77, Nelson continues to go strong with his music and eco message.
The legendary country star is part of the Green Music Group and recently teamed up with Planet Green to host a special Green Music Group challenge. To participate, all you have to do is come up with sustainable ways of traveling and photograph yourself using that alternative form of transportation.
The prize? $500 from Hard Rock, which can be used “for pretty much anything: tickets to shows, a night at a hotel, meals, Hard Rock merchandise and more.”
What’s more, every person who enters one of the Green Music Group challenges this year will have the chance to win the grand prize: a Honda Insight Hybrid. Nice!
